Martin Sander 0cb38cfdcb fire onSelectionChange on empty selection 
Fire the onSelectionChange event when a selection is cleared by
single-clicking somewhere inside the terminal area.

fixes #3193.

This also slightly changes the behaviour when re-selecting the same area
in the terminal. Before, this fired onSelectionChange, but it does not
anymore, even when changing the direction of the selection.

Pete Blois 057a8f6f1b Incorporate shadowRoot in focus calculation. 
This adds a call to getRootNode to get either the Document or the
ShadowRoot to use when calculating whether the textarea has focus.

getRootNode is guarded for older browser compatibility (IE).

Daniel Imms e07b9684bb Expose API to clear texture atlas 
Using canvases on Electron (and plain Chromium I believe), when resuming
from sleep the graphics card may release the texture which results in
the terminal display and char atlas being corrupt. This API allows the
consumer to clear the texture atlas right after resuming, atlas warm up
is not done to simplify this process because the fact that atlases are
shared between multiple terminals complicates this.

Daniel Imms 50fc84f7d7 Support ILink.dispose 
When displaying hovers/overlays using the link provider API currently
it's not possible to know when unused links are no longer cached in
xterm.js which can result in leaked event listeners.
